Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse, where your expertise in patient care and clinical skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. Duties
- Provide high-quality patient care through assessments, health education, and support during consultations
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols and safety standards
- Assist with minor procedures, vaccinations, and wound care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient vital signs and update medical records with precision and confidentiality
- Educate patients on health management, medication use, and lifestyle modifications to promote wellness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and follow-up appointments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control guidelines
Experience
- Proven experience in a clinical or practice nursing setting with a focus on patient-centered care
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to support accurate assessments and interventions
- Skilled in medication administration, including injections, oral medications, and topical treatments
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards, and best practices in clinical documentation

Qualifications Essential
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
Desirable
- Additional qualifications in chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
- Cervical cytology training
- Child immunisations training
- Phlebotomy
- Contraception counselling qualification
