We're recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential care provider looking for an ambitious leader to take ownership of a well-established EBD home in Dagenham. You'll join a supportive senior leadership team that genuinely invests in its managers, providing the autonomy to lead while offering the support needed to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the children's home in line with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Creating a safe, therapeutic and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Leading, developing and inspiring a dedicated staff team.
- Driving positive outcomes through excellent care planning and safeguarding practice.
- Managing compliance, audits and Ofsted readiness.
- Building strong relationships with social workers, families and external professionals.
- Overseeing staffing, rotas, budgets and operational performance.
- Driving continuous improvement across the service.
Who We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Current Registered Manager experience within an Ofsted registered children's home, or
- Significant Deputy Manager experience and are ready to step into your first Registered Manager role.
- Experience supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards if you're an experienced Deputy Manager).
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
