Instrument Technician
Location: Swansea
Rate: £31.77 per hour
Hours: 38 hours per week

Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Instrument Technician to start on an industrial project in Swansea.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, testing, and fault finding of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on instrumentation equipment.
- Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Test and commission instrumentation systems.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
- Work closely with engineers and site teams to deliver the project successfully.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician within an industrial environment.
- Relevant instrumentation qualifications.
- Experience with calibration, testing, and fault finding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Valid CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
