Area Cleaning Supervisor (Evenings)
Trowbridge, Wiltshire and surrounding towns and villages (within approximately 45 minutes)

Due to continued growth, Clay & Co. Facilities Group is seeking a reliable, professional and motivated Area Cleaning Supervisor to support our cleaning teams across a portfolio of sites, primarily within schools and educational settings.
This is a client-facing role and an important part of our operational team. You will act as a key point of contact for both our clients and colleagues, helping to ensure our services are delivered safely, professionally and to the highest standards.
As one of our out-of-hours supervisors, you will play an important role in supporting sites and colleagues during evening operations. You will be trusted to resolve issues, provide guidance, maintain standards and help ensure our services continue to run smoothly across all locations.
Working Hours
- 15 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 5:00pm – 8:00pm
- Primarily term-time working (approximately 40 weeks per year)
- Additional daytime hours may be available during school holiday periods for deep cleaning projects, staff cover and specialist cleaning work. Further details will be discussed at interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting, motivating and supervising cleaning colleagues across multiple sites
- Carrying out regular site visits, inspections and quality audits
- Training and developing colleagues to ensure consistent service standards
- Covering staff absences and annual leave where required to maintain service delivery
- Acting as a professional point of contact for clients and site representatives
- Acting as a key out-of-hours contact for sites and colleagues, providing support and resolving issues as they arise
- Delivering cleaning products, consumables and equipment to sites as required
- Identifying and reporting site issues that may impact service delivery
- Monitoring standards and implementing improvements where required
- Assisting with colleague inductions, compliance checks and ongoing training
- Reporting site updates, staffing issues and client feedback to management
- Ensuring company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements are followed
- Supporting deep cleaning projects during school holiday periods
About You

Experience within commercial cleaning, facilities management or a supervisory role is preferred but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to travel between sites across Wiltshire and Somerset
- Flexibility to provide additional cover when required
- Right to work in the UK
