Job Summary
We are seeking a professional HGV Driver (Class 1) to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating lorries to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
Duties
- Operate Class 1 HGV lorries, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Deliver goods to 1 location in Leeds x 4 loads per day, all preloaded trailers, back door tip, maintaining professional conduct with clients and customers.
- would suit semi retired person Saturday and Sunday only.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs
- Adhere to driving hours regulations and maintain accurate records of driving times and breaks
- Proven experience as a commercial delivery driver, preferably with tautliner trailers
- Demonstrate driving skills with a clean driving licence (Class 1)
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, with a focus on punctuality and customer service skills
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
