Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations in domestic and/or commercial properties.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and fault-find electrical issues efficiently.
- Perform electrical testing, inspection, and certification where qualified.
- Install consumer units, lighting, sockets, distribution boards, and containment systems.
- Complete electrical alterations, upgrades, rewires, and new installations.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Safely isolate electrical systems before commencing work.
- Use calibrated testing equipment and maintain accurate test records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Adhere to health and safety legislation and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and other trades.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Supply and maintain your own tools and equipment.
- Travel to different job sites as required.
Essential qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or recognised equivalent)
- AM2 assessment (where applicable)
- BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) qualification
- Inspection & Testing qualification (if carrying out testing/certification)
- ECS Gold Card (recommended, especially for commercial work)
- Full UK driving license

Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
