Are you our next Team Leader?
We are looking for a Team Leader with the right values to join our Adult Short Break Service in Welwyn Garden City, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.
You’ll play a key role in leading and supporting our team, helping to ensure the people who stay with us receive high-quality, person-centred support and enjoyable, meaningful short breaks.
We’re looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic and reliable, with the confidence to lead and support others in the right way. Experience working with people with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs is essential, with previous Team Leader or Senior experience desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Support Workers with a kind and professional approach.
- Provide person-centred care and support.
- Support individuals with activities, independence and accessing the community.
- Update and maintain support plans, risk assessments, and medication records (good IT skills are essential!)
- Promote dignity, choice, and independence.
- Support the smooth running of the home in every way.
- Be a positive and supportive role model for staff development.
- We are ideally looking for drivers.
What we offer:
- £16.31 per hour
