We are seeking a Director of Front Office who embodies this philosophy: a strategic, guest‑centric leader who understands that the first impression begins long before arrival.
Location: Bermuda | Department: Rooms | Reports to: Director of Operations
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all Front Office operations, ensuring seamless and elevated guest arrival and departure experiences
- Champion service excellence across Front Desk, Guest Experience, Bell/Door, Concierge and Butler functions
- Drive consistency in luxury service standards, aligning with The Loren brand philosophy
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and performance management of the Front Office team
- Elevate the guest journey through personalization, attention to detail, and proactive service recovery, overseeing VIP handling, and guest satisfaction performance
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to ensure flawless room readiness and communication
- Analyse guest feedback (including Revinate and internal surveys) to drive continuous improvement
- Support revenue optimization through effective upselling, inventory management, and rate awareness
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering engagement, accountability, and career growth
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years in a senior Front of house leadership role
- Current or previous experience as Front Office Director, Assistant Director of Front Office, or similar leadership position
- Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
- Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations and personalized service delivery
- Experience working within island or resort environments preferred
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with exceptional communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Opera Cloud (or similar PMS) required; familiarity with guest experience platforms a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
