Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Steel Welder / Fabricator to join our successful team manufacturing cattle handling equipment. An interesting role, starting with raw steel and components and taking them through to a finished product. The ideal candidate will possess a natural aptitude for engineering.
Duties
- Welding and fabricating from raw steel materials.
- Prepare components for galvanizing.
- Assembly of galvanized components to complete product.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG welding required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work is an advantage.
- Previous experience in assembly roles is beneficial.
Other Skills of Interest
- Our products also make use of CNC plasma cut parts, hydraulics, electrical weigh systems and EID readers etc. Knowledge of these would be of interest.
