We're looking for a passionate and qualified Residential Support Worker to join our warm, supportive team in Redditch, B98.
Our home is a therapeutic children's home, providing high-quality care for children and young people through relationship-based practice. What you'll be doing
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Providing consistent care and emotional support in a therapeutic environment.
- Supporting young people with education, daily routines, hobbies, and independence skills.
- Helping children develop confidence, resilience, and positive life experiences.
- Working alongside colleagues and professionals to deliver high-quality, child-centred care.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child in your care.
What we're looking for
You'll have:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a children's residential home.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
- A calm, caring, and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
