We are currently recruiting for a full-time Labourer to join our team at our Charlton Depot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to be part of a busy, fast-paced operation where no two days are the same.
As a Labourer, you will provide essential support across the depot, helping to ensure equipment, stock and day-to-day operations run efficiently. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the depot
- Loading, unloading and moving equipment safely
- Preparing equipment ready for hire
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Assisting with stock movements and yard organisation
- Supporting depot and engineering teams with operational tasks
- Ensuring equipment and work areas meet company standards
- Following all health and safety procedures
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in a similar position, preferably within the hire, plant, construction or related industry.

- Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships across the business
The following would be advantageous:
- Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence
- CSCS Card
- Full clean UK Driving Licence
- Previous plant hire or equipment hire experience
