We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide guests with correct change or receipts
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas during shifts
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience in guest services, upselling, or culinary roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
