General Builder / Bricklayer
We are looking for an experienced and reliable General Builder with a strong background in brickwork and structural alterations to join our growing team at T G Williams Builders Ltd.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across North Wales and the North West of England on a range of projects, including:
- Residential refurbishments and extensions
- Structural alterations
- Heritage and conservation works
- Commercial projects
- Insurance reinstatement works
Typical duties include:
- Brickwork, blockwork and general masonry
- Forming structural openings and installing lintels and structural steelwork
- Alteration, repair and rebuilding of existing structures
- General building and refurbishment works
- Working from drawings, specifications and agreed methods of work
- Coordinating with site managers, subcontractors and other trades
- Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy working environment
- Groundworks, drainage and concreting where required
Requirements
- Minimum five years’ relevant experience in general building
- Strong brickwork and blockwork experience
- Proven experience carrying out structural alterations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of construction drawings
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional and proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Valid CSCS card preferred
- Experience in groundworks, drainage and concreting would be a strong advantage
- Relevant trade qualifications advantageous but not essential

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work location: Various sites across North Wales and the North West of England. Applicants should be based within reasonable travelling distance of our St Asaph office.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
