Lewknor Preschool is a friendly, community-based preschool in the village of Lewknor, Oxfordshire. We provide high-quality early years care and education, including outdoor learning sessions, in a warm and welcoming setting.
The role:
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our core team. You will help deliver safe, stimulating and inclusive care and education in line with the EYFS framework, with flexible part-time hours that fit around family life.
You will:
- Act as a keyworker for a group of children
- Provide high-quality care, learning and play opportunities
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and development
- Contribute to observations, planning and assessments
- Manage snack and lunch periods, including food hygiene and allergy awareness
- Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers
What we're looking for
- Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
- Wellcomm trained and Disability Awareness
- If qualified after Jan 2024, DfE Maths & English Level 2 requirements met
- Enhanced DBS check and suitable references
Desirable: Wellcomm Toolkit, Early Help, Oral Health, Healthy Weight and SEND Awareness training.
What we offer:

- Monday 8.00am - 12.00pm | Tuesday 8.00am - 12.30pm | Wednesday & Thursday 8.00am - 3.30pm | Friday 8.00am - 12.00pm.
