Top Mops Contracted Cleaning is an award-winning cleaning company operating across the South Coast and the Isle of Wight.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at one of our Southsea venues.
This role is based at an large event venue in Southsea, and involves working as part of a team to maintain exceptionally high cleaning standards within a busy events venue.
We require flexibility and reliability, whilst maintaining a high work ethic.
The hours vary, weekend work is required, as well as weekdays. This is an early morning clean, and you will be responsible for locking up and making sure the venue is secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties to a high standard throughout the venue
- Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and presentable
- Act as a key holder, including opening and locking up the premises when required
- Ensure the building is left secure at the end of each shift
- Operate floor-cleaning machinery (full training provided)
- Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Flexible approach to working hours and shifts
- Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail
- Comfortable taking responsibility as a key holder
Hours and Pay
- £12.71 per hour
- Paid fortnightly
- Shifts generally start from 6:00am
- Days and hours are not fixed and may vary depending on customer requirements
- Opportunity for additional weekday work may be available
Training
Experience using floor-cleaning machinery is not essential, as full training will be provided.
