Due to expansion, We are currently looking HGV Class 1 drivers required for general haulage tramping throughout the UK.
This is a full time tramping position, run ins are required every other Saturday. Average 3 nights out per week.
All trampers have a truck allocated to them.

You must have
- C+E Licence
- A valid Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC card)
- No more than 6 penalty points
- A digital tacho card
- A good understanding of drivers hours and working time
- A good knowledge of UK roads

Salary: £47,000-£58,000 gross per annum including nights out
Typical weekly earnings based on a 65 hour week (61.25 paid):
50 Hours basic £725
11.25 hours overtime £185.63
5 x meal allowance £50 (tax free)
4 x overnights £104.80 (tax free)
Total before tax £1065.43

Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 C+E vehicles for long-distance transportation, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- Deliver goods to various locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Manage loading and unloading of goods, ensuring secure transport.
- Communicate effectively with company planners and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to company policies and procedures.
