Join the opening team as a Bartender, where you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional drinks and guest experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, engaging with customers, and helping create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere. Duties:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, soft drinks, and other beverages to a high standard
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area throughout service
- Follow cocktail recipes and preparation standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Engage with guests, answer questions about the drinks menu, and make suitable recommendations
- Use upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and support sales
- Work closely with front of house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Follow UK licensing requirements, responsible alcohol service procedures, and health and safety standards
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and monitoring bar inventory when required
- Support private functions, events, and busy service periods as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and other beverages
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced London hospitality environment
- Good basic maths skills for handling payments and transactions accurately
- Strong teamwork and time management skills
- Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service practices
- A positive, professional attitude with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Ability to upsell drinks and make confident menu recommendations
Experience:
Previous experience working as a bartender, mixologist, bar staff member, or within the hospitality industry is required. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Experience working in a busy bar, restaurant, pub, hotel, or events environment is an advantage.
