We're looking for someone who enjoys variety. This isn't a traditional support desk role. You'll help support our customers while also taking responsibility for our internal IT systems, Microsoft 365 environment, hardware deployments, cyber security administration and technical projects.

The Role
This is a varied technical position where no two days are the same.
When customer support demand is high, you'll work alongside our experienced support team helping customers resolve technical issues. When support is quieter, you'll focus on improving our internal systems, deploying hardware, managing devices, supporting cyber security initiatives and assisting with customer implementation projects.
You'll become an important part of the technical operations team and will have the opportunity to broaden your skills across infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies and AI.
Responsibilities: Customer Support
- Provide first and second-line technical support to customers.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware and networking issues.
- Log, manage and resolve support tickets.
- Deliver excellent customer service by phone, email and remote support.
Internal IT
- Configure and deploy Windows laptops and desktops.
- Manage Microsoft 365 users, licensing, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint.
- Administer Microsoft Intune and company devices.
- Maintain office IT equipment, printers and meeting room technology.
- Manage company hardware and software assets.
Infrastructure & Networking
- Install and configure biometric terminals and workforce management hardware.
- Assist with office networking, routers, switches, Wi-Fi and firewall administration.
- Liaise with external IT providers where specialist support is required.
Cyber Security & Compliance
- Assist with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus renewals.
- Help maintain security policies and documentation.
- Support vulnerability remediation and customer security questionnaires.
- Maintain GDPR documentation and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
Projects & Innovation
- Assist with customer implementation projects.
- Prepare and configure hardware before deployment.
- Support project managers during installations.
- Research and implement AI tools that improve productivity across the business.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive internal processes.
About You
You'll enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and learning new technologies.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Windows 11
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft Intune
- Windows device deployment
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Hardware configuration and troubleshooting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable experience includes:
- Azure
- PowerShell
- Cyber Essentials
- Microsoft Copilot
- ChatGPT and AI productivity tools
- Firewall administration
- SQL Server
- Time & Attendance or Workforce Management systems
