In the role of bar assistant you will have the opportunity to work in a busy golf club which provides food and beverage for members, guests and visitors of the golf club. We offer a wide range of services which include daily restaurant service, serving of alcohol/non alcohol drinks, serving team matches and corporate golf days.
The person wishing to fill this part time role of 15 to 30 hours per week must be confident and self motivated, with a team ethos. At least one year experience of bar work is preferred.
Job description
To assist the bar supervisor in the effective running of the bar, delivering a high level of customer service and maintaining the high standards set by the company.
Duties to include
- Open and close the bars including cashing up, and locking up buildings
- Serving food and drinks
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness behind the bar
- To problem solve and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist in the set up of events
- A pro active approach to work
- Weekends, evenings and bank holidays
- Wage dependant on experience
