About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong financial performance and a positive working culture.
This is a hands-on management role where you’ll lead from the front, inspire your team and maintain the high standards that Mother Hubbard’s is known for.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all daily restaurant operations.
* Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team.
* Recruit, train and retain high-performing staff.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
* Monitor food quality, cleanliness and presentation standards.
* Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.
* Manage labour costs and staff rotas efficiently.
* Control stock levels, ordering and minimise waste.
* Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving business targets.
* Maintain a positive and productive working environment.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience managing a busy restaurant or fast-food operation.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* A hands-on approach with a willingness to work alongside the team.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of labour, stock and cost control.
* Experience delivering outstanding customer service.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
