About the Role
We are looking for an Experienced Optical Dispenser or Dispensing Assistant with a minimum of one year experience dispensing spectacles to join our small yet very vibrant team, working in our independent practice in Shaftesbury. We are a family run business that prides itself on delivering personalised high quality care, taking the time to ensure every customer fully understands the products they are receiving. Our practice operates with a genuine family feel, with no layers of management, supportive colleagues, and a first name culture where everyone matters. We are happy to consider full time or part time candidates.
Qualities and Experience We Are Looking For
Minimum one year experience dispensing spectacles
Optical practice experience essential
Managerial or supervisory experience desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service and patient care focus
Self motivated and proactive
Comfortable working towards targets
A positive team player
Flexible and adaptable
Willing to develop and learn
Strong attention to detail
Innovative and open minded
Able to follow procedures
Confident using IT systems
