We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Workers to support young people in our community. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote personal growth, social skills, and confidence among young people.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to support behavioural development and emotional well-being.
- Work closely with children and teenagers, ensuring their safety and fostering a positive environment.
- Support individuals with special educational needs by adapting activities and providing tailored assistance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external organisations to develop programmes that meet the diverse needs of participants.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and progress for reporting purposes.
- Uphold safeguarding policies at all times to ensure the safety of all young people under your supervision.
Requirements
- Experience or background in teaching, youth work, or working with children is highly desirable.
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
- Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) and inclusive practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with patience and empathy when working with diverse groups of children and teenagers.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
