Base Scotland is looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead one of our 15 Glasgow venues, from premium dining to high-volume pub trade. This is a great next step for a strong Duty Manager or supervisor ready to take on more.

What you'll do
- Support the GM in driving sales and hitting wage %, GP% and productivity targets
- Own rota planning, holiday cover and labour scheduling
- Lead recruitment, induction, training and ongoing team development
- Maintain standards across service, cleanliness, compliance and presentation
- Manage supplier relationships, stock control and ordering to budget
- Act as duty manager on shift, taking full accountability when the GM is off-site
- Support delivery of events, activations and seasonal trading periods
- Contribute to weekly/period reporting and trading reviews
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an AGM, Duty Manager or senior supervisor in hospitality
- Comfortable with P&L, wage % and stock figures
- A natural people-leader with experience training and developing teams
- Organised, structured and able to manage competing priorities
- Personal licence holder (or willing to obtain)
- Ambition to progress toward General Manager or Area Manager level
