IVC Signs Limited is looking to recruit an experienced Sign Maker to join our Final Assembly Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join our company at an exciting time in its development.
Our 30,000 sq. ft. premises provides the perfect platform for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven individual to join our team and play an important role in the future development of the company.
The Role
Working within our Final Assembly Department, you will be responsible for the accurate and high-quality assembly of a wide range of signage.
You will need to be confident in reading and understanding technical drawings, plans and assembly instructions, and be responsible for positioning, aligning and assembling sign components using adhesives, bonding agents and mechanical fixings.
The successful candidate will have experience working with a variety of materials, including:
- Acrylics
- Metals
- Foamcore
- Aluminium composite materials
You will also require knowledge and experience of LED lighting installation and other methods of providing illumination within signage.
About You
The successful applicant will be:
- Experienced and competent in all aspects of signage assembly
- Confident reading technical drawings, plans and assembly instructions
- Comfortable using powered hand tools
- Experienced in working with a range of signage materials
- Knowledgeable about LED lighting and illuminated signage
- Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work accurately and efficiently to deadlines
- Physically capable of safely handling heavy objects
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks within the department
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven to develop their skills
