Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Junior / Trainee Mechanical Estimator to begin work for a well-established mechanical contractor in the Postcombe, near Thame area.

Brief Role Description –
We are looking for a Junior / Trainee Mechanical Estimator to join a busy and supportive estimating team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with plumbing and heating knowledge or practical plumbing experience who is looking to develop a career within mechanical estimating.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with estimates for plumbing and heating packages
- Completing basic take-offs from drawings and tender documents
- Assisting with project designs and tender preparation
- Obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Raising enquiries and supporting the pricing of new projects
- Preparing and organising tender documentation
- Liaising with new and existing clients
- Following up submitted tenders
- Supporting the wider estimating team as required
About You:
- Plumbing and heating knowledge or experience advantageous
- Previous onsite plumbing experience would be beneficial
- Keen to develop a career within mechanical estimating
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicating with clients by telephone and email
- Able to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
- Full UK driving licence and own transport required
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
