Pine Ridge Golf Club, part of Crown Golf Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Club Operations Manager to lead our Front of House, Bar and Golf Operations departments, and their teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of one of the region's busiest golf clubs, working alongside an experienced management team to create memorable experiences for our members, guests and visitors.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee the smooth running of all clubhouse front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, strong financial performance and a highly engaged team.
You will be responsible for leading and developing your departments while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
As Club Operations Manager you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of Front of House, Bar, Restaurant, Golf Operations and Padel.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across all areas of the clubhouse.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage staffing levels and produce efficient rotas within budget.
- Monitor sales performance, costs and departmental budgets.
- Oversee purchasing, supplier relationships and stock control.
- Lead monthly stock takes and manage EPOS/till updates and reporting.
- Ensure accurate daily takings and financial controls are maintained.
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Sales Manager and General Manager to deliver successful events and promotions.
- Help develop bar menus, pricing and seasonal offers.
- Resolve customer feedback professionally and implement improvements where required.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and maintenance throughout the clubhouse.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, licensing, health & safety and company procedures.
- Lead Health & Safety compliance actions and prepare for company audits.
- Oversee the daily management of our growing Padel operation.
- Chair regular team meetings and contribute to senior management meetings.
- Act as Duty Manager and deputise for the General Manager when required.
- Be a positive ambassador for Crown Golf and support the wider business whenever needed.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- An experienced hospitality, leisure or golf operations manager.
- Passionate about delivering first-class customer service.
- A confident leader who enjoys motivating and developing people.
- Commercially aware with strong financial and organisational skills.
- Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities.
- A hands-on manager who leads by example.
- Flexible and willing to work as part of a seven-day management operation.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience within hospitality, leisure or golf.
- Hospitality Management qualification (or equivalent).
- Food Safety Certification.
- Cellar Management qualification.
- Personal Licence Holder.
Working Hours
This is a full-time management position within a seven-day operation.
Flexibility is essential, with regular evening, weekend and bank holiday working as part of the management rota.
