Summary
St. Wulstans is a voluntary aided Catholic primary school guided by the Gospel values of Love, Friendship, Respect, Forgiveness and Honesty. As Welfare Assistant you will:
- Supervise pupils during the midday period, including walking pupils to/from the playground and the dinner hall and supervising mealtimes
- Promote positive behaviour and prevent escalation by engaging pupils in productive play
- Keep pupils safe and appropriately occupied, including supervising play and managing pupils who remain indoors
- Respond to minor accidents and report them in line with school procedures
- Work cooperatively as part of the school team and follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with primary-aged children, is attentive to wellbeing and safety, and values being part of a supportive school community.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
