Join our friendly team at Allied Pharmacy in Fazakerley as a Pharmacy Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and delivering excellent care to our local community. Key responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacy team with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers at the counter, offering advice on over-the-counter medicines where appropriate
- Handle prescription intake, labelling and hand-outs in line with pharmacy procedures
- Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating products
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy environment
- Support with till operations, cash handling and general administrative tasks
- Signpost patients to other NHS services when needed
What we're looking for:
- A warm, approachable manner with strong customer service skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a responsible, trustworthy attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow pharmacy protocols and procedures
- Basic IT and numeracy skills
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
