Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a static site role with a leading Facilities Management company?
We are recruiting for an electrically qualified engineer to join one of the UK's largest and most established FM providers on a prestigious static site in Marston Green.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with excellent earning potential through overtime and a low-frequency call-out rota.
The Role
As the site's Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and small electrical works across a busy commercial site.
Working as part of the on-site engineering team, you'll play a key role in ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
- Respond to reactive maintenance and fault-finding tasks
- Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and electrical services
- Carry out electrical repairs and minor installation works
- Complete statutory testing and compliance checks
- Support mechanical and building services engineers where required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CAFM systems
- Liaise with subcontractors and specialist contractors
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
- Assist with small project works and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working within Facilities Management, Building Services, or Commercial Maintenance
- Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance
- Experience working on commercial electrical systems
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
Desirable Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Experience using CAFM systems
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £43,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- 1 in 8 call-out rota
- £125 standby payment (Friday to Friday)
