Job Role:
To ensure effective day to day maintenance of all machinery, building and factory equipment.
Objectives:
Provide routine maintenance repairs, servicing to production equipment and building services
Duties to be performed:
- Repair and service all factory machinery as and when required.
- Participate in on-going day to day maintenance of the factory in general.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as and when required.
- Participate in trouble shooting activities in respect to machine breakdowns, leakage’s etc
- To undertake planned preventative/predictive maintenance activities in accordance with the annual TPM schedule.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping at all times.
- Respond to breakdowns
- Diagnose faults
- Obtain specialist components, fixtures or fittings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Create maintenance instructions
- Any other duties as and when required.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Time served Electrical Engineer
- Minimum ONC preferably HNC
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Experience of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience in Injection Moulding preferable
- Electrically biased and understand electrical diagrams.
- 18th edition qualified desirable
- Experience pipe work installation preferred
- Knowledge of Krauss Maffei or Engel moulding machines would be ideal
- Experience of carrying out TPM’s
- Experience of working on projects
- Welding experience desirable

Hours of Work:
You shall work an average of 42 hours per week as below:
0600 – 1800 for 4 days, 4 days off and 1800 – 0600 for 4 nights.
Overtime:
Payable at 1.5 after fully weekly contracted hours have been completed.
