Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Laundry Manager to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their management skills within the hospitality industry. The role involves supporting the laundry operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and efficiency, and gaining valuable experience in hotel management. Candidates with hotel experience will be preferred, but full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen and uniforms
- Support the management team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality control
- Ensure all laundry equipment is operated safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Help organise the scheduling of laundry tasks to meet operational deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of laundry volumes and processing times
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of detergents and other supplies
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment for all staff
- Contribute to training new team members as part of your development programme
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for candidates eager to learn
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
- Willingness to undertake physical tasks associated with laundry operations

Pay: £12.70-£17.82 per hour
