We are currently recruiting for a Test Engineer to join an established electronics manufacturing business based in Crawley.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the testing, fault-finding and validation of electronic assemblies and products, working closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Test electronic assemblies and products to required specifications.
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis of electronic circuits and assemblies.
- Investigate test failures and identify root causes.
- Use test equipment and diagnostic tools to identify faults.
- Record and document test results accurately.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support the development and improvement of test procedures and processes.
- Assist with continuous improvement and product quality initiatives.
About You
- Previous experience working as a Test Engineer within an electronics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and components.
- Experience with fault-finding and diagnosing electronic assemblies.
- Comfortable using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- PCB and electronics manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous.
