As a senior software engineer at Firefinch Software, you would be involved in a mix of ongoing work for existing clients and new projects.
We build web & desktop applications, and use a diverse variety of technologies. For this role we are looking for someone with experience in developing .Net based desktop applications, using any of the common frameworks such as WPF, MAUI, Avalonia or similar.
Although this role is focused on desktop development, we enable our staff to grow their skills in the directions they wish and there would be the opportunity to become involved with other technologies longer-term.

Day to day, you would:
- Work on full stack applications, taking a lead on substantial features

Required knowledge/experience
- Proven or demonstrable experience in a modern .Net based desktop framework.
Desirable knowledge/experience
- Writing instrument control software.

You would have the opportunity to either work primarily remote with occasional visits to the office as required for project work, or fully in our fantastic Edinburgh city centre office.
- Salary range: £45K to £68K based on 36 hours per week.
