Warehouse Operative
Location: Welwyn Garden City Al7 1EL, Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.15pm, onsite
Reporting to: Retail Distribution Manager
Are you organised, reliable and looking for a hands-on role in a friendly warehouse team?
We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Retail Distribution team in Welwyn Garden City. This is a varied role where you’ll help keep our warehouse running smoothly by picking and packing orders, receiving deliveries, checking stock and supporting the safe and efficient movement of goods.
What you’ll be doing

Accurately picking and packing orders ready for dispatch.

Working closely with your team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Using warehouse equipment such as hand pallet trucks and forklift trucks, with training provided where needed.

Receiving deliveries, unloading goods and checking items against packing notes or purchase orders.

Carrying out regular stock checks and supporting inventory counts.

Learning how to support device refurbishment as part of your training.

Following health and safety guidelines to help maintain a safe working environment.
What we’re looking for

Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach.

Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things accurately.

Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and database skills.

The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have
-
Forklift truck experience would be useful, but it’s not essential as training can be provided.
