About the Trust –
We provide health and social care services to our people in their own homes or in their local community. We also run Torbay Hospital (providing acute hospital services) as well as five community hospitals, stretching from Dawlish to Brixham.
We support around 500,000 face-to-face contacts with patients in their homes and communities each year and see over 78,000 people in our A&E department annually. We serve a resident population of approximately 286,000 people, plus about 100,000 visitors at any one time during the summer holiday season.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Supply and administer medications that are approved under Patient Group Direction (PGD).
- Assess, diagnose, treat or refer patients with minor injuries and assess and direct illnesses as an autonomous practitioner.
- Provide direct access to patients seeking health care management and advice.
- Ensure that the wellbeing of children/families and vulnerable adults is safeguarded in accordance with national and local policies and procedures.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of :-
- Statement of NMC Registration
- Degree /Diploma in Nursing
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
- Undertake regular mandatory training.
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an hospital environment within the last 3 years working as an ENP.
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
