Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including driver models, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Deliver packages efficiently and accurately to designated locations, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details and address any issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain optimal safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, often involving heavy lifting in warehouse environments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate inventory movement and ensure timely dispatch of goods
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with driver preferred
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and navigation tools
- Physical ability to handle heavy lifting and perform manual tasks in warehouse settings
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations
- Ability to stay organized, punctual, and focused in a fast-paced environment
