We are looking for a caring, reliable and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker.
The role involves providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

About You

Experience in domiciliary care is desirable, but full training may be provided for the right candidate.

Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a caring environment
- Administer medication and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with care standards
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure clear understanding of care needs
- Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or activities when required
Requirements
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely for home care or care home duties
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the sector
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients, families, and team members
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and confidentiality standards is advantageous
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed

Pay: £13.50 per hour
