KS1 / KS2 Tutor (Immediate Start – w/c 24 August 2026)First Exams Limited
First Exams specialises in 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+ entrance exam preparation. Over the past few years, our in-person and online tuition programmes have grown rapidly, enabling us to offer exciting opportunities to talented tutors who are looking for flexible and rewarding teaching work.
We are currently recruiting tutors to support our in-person summer programme during the week commencing 24 August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are available during the summer holidays and are interested in joining our team on a longer-term basis. Successful candidates may also be offered regular teaching opportunities during weekends and future school holiday programmes throughout the academic year.
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced KS1 / KS2 tutors (or experienced teaching assistants) to join our team.
Our immediate priority is to recruit tutors who are available to teach during the week commencing 24 August 2026 at our Sloane Square centre in Central London.
Following the summer programme, there will be opportunities to continue teaching on our:
- Saturday term-time programmes;
- School holiday revision courses and workshops;
- Mock examination programmes; and
- Other specialist entrance exam events throughout the year.
Priority will be given to candidates with experience preparing children for 7+, 8+ or 11+ entrance examinations, although experienced primary teachers with strong classroom teaching skills are also encouraged to apply.
We value commitment, professionalism and excellence. We are looking for tutors who are passionate about teaching, creative in the classroom, and dedicated to helping children achieve their full potential. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
