Key responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacy team with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Serve customers at the counter, offering a warm and helpful welcome
- Provide advice on over-the-counter medicines within your scope of training
- Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating products
- Handle prescription queries and liaise with GP surgeries when required
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant pharmacy environment
- Support colleagues with day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth running of the branch
What we're looking for:
- A friendly, approachable manner with strong customer service skills
- Good communication and the ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
- A willingness to learn and develop within a community pharmacy setting
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is welcome, though not essential
- A relevant pharmacy qualification (such as NVQ Level 2) would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right candidate
- A caring attitude and genuine interest in supporting patient wellbeing
