An exciting opportunity has opened for an Early Years Practitioner in our small but busy nursery based in the Douglas Park area of Largs.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is committed to meeting the needs of young children.
All applicants must hold at least an HNC/level 3 Early Learning & Childcare qualification, have working knowledge of a wide range of national guidance including the Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the Ambition and safeguarding of children.
The role requires effective communication skills both verbal and written when dealing with staff, parents, children and external agencies.
You will be expected to contribute in curriculum planning, have responsibility for your own group of children and must be confident when developing individual learning programmes to support children's on going achievements.
You will be actively involved in self evaluation and the continuous improvement journey of the nursery.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the PVG scheme for children and registered with SSSC.
