The Role:
We are seeking one Quality Assurance Auditor to join our Technical team on a Panama Shift pattern, 6am to 6pm.
You will form part of a multi-disciplinary team to carry out quality assurance duties in all areas of the business on a rota basis. You will provide detailed inspection data in relation to our customers and specifications throughout the quality chain, including start-up, online and packing room checks.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct various types of audits, including CCP compliance, traceability exercises, Codes of Practice, Line audits, Hygiene and Fabrication, etc.
· Sample, test, audit and monitor all processes, procedures and products to ensure safe and compliant manufacturing, and investigate customer complaints
· Support the production team in resolving food safety and quality issues (i.e. on hold, investigations, foreign body contamination, rejections, etc)
· Conduct verification checks on equipment, accurately complete all necessary documentation, provide training to operational team members and other functions to ensure compliance with set standards
· Ensure site remains audit-ready in line with BRC standards, assist with external audits (where necessary) and continuous site improvement initiatives, ensure the site remains a safe working environment for all colleagues
You Will Be:
· Computer literacy, strong numeracy and English literacy
· CCP training, including HACCP
· Experience and understanding of internal audit processes
· Understanding of allergens and microbiological awareness
· Strong knowledge of GMP and non-conformance reporting techniques
· Understanding of basic disinfection principles, legal labelling practices, and weight legislation
· Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Level 2
