At Vcare-24, we are looking for caring, reliable and flexible Support Workers to join our dedicated team.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support across a variety of settings. Your role will be varied and may include:
- Supporting children with learning difficulties or SEN in family homes and out in the community, helping them to live safe, fulfilled and meaningful lives.
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing) and daily living tasks such as household chores where required.
- Building positive, trusting relationships and promoting independence wherever possible.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and is passionate about supporting people to achieve the best possible outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for people who can bring:
- Experience of working with clients with complex needs, including Learning disability and ASD.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathise and build trust.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of a fast-paced and growing business.
- A commitment to making a difference and an understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable children.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A driving licence (preferred but not essential) to enable travel across different settings.
- Willingness to support with personal care and household tasks where needed.
