We are seeking an experienced Full Time Accounts Assistant, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
- Processing of Customer/Supplier invoices using Sage.
- Chasing customers debts by telephone and e-mail and reducing debtor days.
- Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
- Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
- An organised approach to handle multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
- Processing Nest Pension contributions online via NEST portal.
- Carrying out pre-sale credit checks using Experian.
- Preparing Customer Terms and Conditions.
- Reconcile monthly supplier statements.
- Photocopying and filing.
- Ensuring Internal databases are maintained to an exceptional standard.
- General administrative support.
- Ad hoc duties as and when to support other departments.
This is an office based role within our Accounts Department.

Desirable skills/experience/education:
Sage Line 50. Microsoft applications, including, Excel, Word as well as other Microsoft Office Programs.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Ability to work to deadlines.
A positive attitude.
Basic understanding of GDPR and data protection.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
