The White Lion is a traditional country pub in the village of Selling, near Faversham. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Bar & Waiting Staff member to help deliver excellent service and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Whether you already have hospitality experience or are looking to start a new role, full training will be provided.

The Role
As part of our front-of-house team, you'll help ensure every guest enjoys a great experience. Your duties will include:
- Greeting guests and taking food and drink orders
- Serving food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Handling payments
- Keeping the bar and dining areas clean and well presented
- Assisting the kitchen team when required
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident, and approachable
- A good communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
- Organised with good time management
- Comfortable handling basic cash and card payments
Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Hours & Pay
- £12.71 per hour
- Minimum of two shifts per week (approximately 3.5–4 hours per shift)
- Additional shifts often available
- Shifts include lunchtimes, evenings, and weekends
Requirements
- Must be aged 18 or over (licensing regulations)
- Own reliable transport is essential, as the pub is not accessible by public transport
