- Have their own reliable, independent form of transport. The White Lion is in a rural village, public transport is not available when our shifts finish, and relying on taxis or lifts has proved impractical in the past.
Unfortunately, applicants who do not meet these essential requirements will not be considered.
Join Our Team
The White Lion is a traditional country pub in Selling, near Faversham. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Bar & Waiting team member to help deliver excellent service and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Whether you already have hospitality experience or are new to the industry, full training will be provided.

Hours & Pay
- £12.71 per hour
- Minimum of two shifts per week (approximately 3½–4 hours per shift). Please consider the practicalities and cost of travelling to and from the pub before applying.
- Additional shifts often available
- Shifts include lunchtimes, evenings and weekends, although we will be flexible where possible.
Essential Requirements
- Aged 18 or over.
- Own reliable, independent transport.
- Able to travel independently to and from the pub .
