Crystal Electronics are looking for experienced Electrician's to join our Nationwide team in Peterborough and surrounding areas.
The work ranges from EV installations EICR's, Emergency Lighting Installation, Maintenance and more within both Domestic and Commercial settings.
Welcome Bonus:
Join our team and receive a £250 welcome bonus. You'll earn £100 after successfully completing 3 months of employment, followed by an additional £150 after successful completion of your 6 month probationary period.
This is a permanent role, 40 hours per week (08:00am - 17:00pm) Working any 5 out of 7 days including weekends, with a lieu day of your choice
Salary: Basic salary from £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus our daily bonus incentive scheme
Qualifications needed:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical qualification or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Desirable Qualifications:
- 2391 Periodic Inspection and Testing
- EV (City & Guilds)
Job Role:
You will be required to carry out various aspects of EICR’s, Repairs and Maintenance and installation of Emergency Lighting, EV Chargers and more.
This includes:
- Working any 5 out of 7 days including some weekends, mainly Saturdays with a lieu day of your choice
- Installing EV charging points in Domestic and Commercial environments
- EV swap outs/upgrades
- Conducting routine maintenance and testing on EV charging point
- Completing EICR’s and carrying out any remedial works identified
- Undertaking fault finding, diagnostics and repairing of electrical systems
- Completing certificates on a PDA system (EasyCert)
- Managing your own stock, you will be required to collect items from your local suppliers
- Travelling to client’s sites and working remotely
- Keeping our Head Office team up to date on completed jobs and any follow-ups required
- Manage van stock and collect materials from local suppliers when required
- Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, organised, and well-presented always
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely
- Completing site surveys
Requirements:
- Experience installing various brands of EV Charging Points
- Experience completing EICR’s and Electrical responsive repairs
- Full and clean driving license
- Clean DBS check
- Strong verbal & written communication skills required
