Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Newly Qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor or Cilex accredited with Police Station Accreditation to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of criminal cases, providing expert legal advice and representation at critical stages of criminal proceedings. Responsibilities
- Precedence Law is a niche law firm that specialises in Private Criminal Defence & Regulatory work.
We are looking to recruit a full time fee earner to support the existing team. The work will involve:
· advising and representing Professional clients subject to criminal and regulatory allegations;
· litigating complex criminal cases at the Crown Court;
· dealing with regulatory cases.
You will be working alongside senior and experienced legal practitioners.
We offer flexible and home working arrangements.
Requirements
- Newly qualified solicitor or Cilex with Police Station Accreditation or equivalent qualification,( not essential)
- Demonstrable knowledge of criminal law and procedure.
- Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple cases efficiently.
- A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to client care.
- Valid right to work in the jurisdiction where the role is based.

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
