Job Title: Senior Accounts Assistant

SUMMARY
The Senior Accoutns Assistant is responsible for assisting in the monthly close, daily cash and banking responsibilities, monthly account reconciliations, ensuring purchase ledger invoices/credits are processed timely and other related projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Completion of purchase ledger Invoice & credit note processing
Process Purchase Order Requisitions
Liaison with staff on ledger purchase matters
Prepare BACS Payments
Process bank transactions
Maintain debtor & creditor records
Reconcile balance sheets including bank recs, supplier statements and respond to supplier queries
Resolve client queries
Manage credit control processes
Send sales ledger statements
Complete stock reporting
Month end & year end audit support
Project Work – as required
General Administrative and ad-hoc duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
GCSEs or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, billing, revenue operations, accounting, or business operations support
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, reporting)
Experience supporting month-end close, billing operations, or financial reporting processes
Experience participating in process improvement initiative
Experience supporting cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, IT, Project Management)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
