Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Road Sweeper Driver to join our team and help maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing streets and public spaces. In this role, you will operate specialized street cleaning equipment, primarily a road sweeper vehicle, to efficiently clear debris, dirt, and litter from roadways and parking areas. Your driving expertise and attention to safety will ensure smooth operations while contributing to a cleaner environment for the community. Responsibilities
- Operate road sweeping machinery safely and effectively across designated routes, ensuring thorough cleaning of streets, parking lots, and other public areas
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning of all equipment
- Follow scheduled routes and adapt to changing conditions or special requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, including route completion times and any issues encountered during operations
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the sweeper vehicle, such as refueling, cleaning filters, or reporting repairs needed
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during all driving activities
- Assist with loading or securing additional equipment or supplies as needed for specific cleaning tasks
