Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our dedicated care home team. The Deputy Manager will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and uphold the highest standards of care, particularly in assisted living, nursing home settings, and dementia care. Duties
- Assist the Home Manager in overseeing all aspects of care delivery within the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
- Supervise and support care staff to deliver person-centered care tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of personalized care plans for residents
- Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with prescribed protocols and legal requirements
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and resident dignity across all areas of the home
- Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in nursing, senior care, and home care services
- Monitor daily operations such as admissions, discharges, and documentation to ensure smooth functioning of the care home
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong background in senior or dementia care
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within a care home setting
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and legal regulations governing eldercare
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team of care professionals
- Strong understanding of care planning processes and person-centered approaches to elderly support
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent; additional certifications in dementia or Alzheimer’s care are advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to engage residents, families, and team members effectively

Pay: £700.00-£730.00 per week
